Day 6 - Last Day in Sámara

Today was our last day in Sámara :(  We didn't have to meet for kayaking until 9:45, so many of us just had an easy morning, though some went for smoothies or coffee. We were again blessed with a beautiful day to go kayaking! We kayaked out to Isla Chora which was designated a national park in 2012 so we couldn't pick up any shells from there to bring back. After we got there, we did a little exploring and had some juice and water before snorkeling or swimming. It was really rocky so getting in and out was tough. The water was a little muddy and rough from the rains, but we still saw some fish and starfish. After a snack or fresh pineapple, watermelon, and...chips...we headed back. The profes' kayak flipped on our way in - the waves had it out for us! - but everyone else did well. It started raining not long after the first group left, so the second group got a free rinse off shower as we waited for our ride. We then split off for lunch and free time. It was our last day to buy souvenirs, so most did that, while others went surfing or swimming for the last time.

Tomorrow we leave for a national park called Rincón de la Vieja at 7 AM for our last adventure before coming home.
